memories

anjeer, mango, kesar, mix........ these were the words frequently uttered at a ice-cream stall on weekends at a place
on the outskirt of Pune- 'dange chowk....'

Pune- I was out of my state for the first time and was heading towards a railway station..... i need not to board any train but then also i was heading towards it.......continuously busy on the phone, passing through the busy traffic and people around........ looking at each black T-shirt........

Greetings exchanged by shaking hands----- Hi(Sanjeev).... Hello(Black T-shirt).... and the guy was Parag...The first time when i met this man, on the platform of pune railway station, who was waiting for me as we both were new to the the City and knew each other through technology...thats orkut.

12 Hours ago, i was alone in the city and now i had a company of 2 guys with me...the other one Satya...Satyanand(later we started calling him BABA), Parag`s college-mate.

Pune was one of the best experience in my life or rather i can say The BEST experience of my life..... Why?? it would be clear in the coming lines. :)

we 3 took a room near our training location. The landlord insisting on 5000 and we on 4500...giving some weird mathematical fundas to convince him as '3 persons can divide 4500 easily as compared to 5000....'Well, the deal was settled with a smile on our face.....

Now, i must admit that i was going to be with 2 most intelligent brains, i have ever met.....both of them, very unique of their kinds. One was a bit serious, the other a bit jolly in nature..... mark the word 'bit'.... and I found myself a missing link between the two.... :)

I dont know why but from the very first day of induction i started disliking "IBM", which was agitated further by statements like' i bLAME mYSELF(IBM) from the serious guy of my room, Baba. Both my roompartners were not satisfied with their life in IBM, and was also true as i knew them personally by then, that they deserve much better place than this.....

Then started our training and we were designated as mainframe batch- Room 001. New faces everywhere, while looking for seats for we 3. A sound from behind 'Macha' 'Macha' 'Hello Macha'- the same guy whom I saw at NIT Rourkela during the reassesment for IBM...... What the hell this word 'Macha' means????? Is he trying to make fun of me......if so then he might get into trouble very soon.. But the situation was totally opposite.... and he was trying to be friendly with me.... my third friend in IBM- 'Uddyalok Banerjee'. He can be described as a YO person(public) or rather you can very well say extremely YO person.

All my 3 encounters, with these 3 persons, were quick and needed not much time to mingle, as compared to my 4th partner who was friendly with me but yet to become a friend of mine.....A cool hairstyle....sexy smile :P......'Dilip sanchora' whom i called sometimes 'Rajwaade' as he was from Rajasthan. We took a little time to get to know each other, but you know the longer the cement takes to harden,,the stronger it becomes.

The 3rd and 4th guy have two things in common- one NIT and other their passion for poems--- which i never read when I was at pune but my habit changed....

All was set in Pune for a rocking life.... Movie at ADLABS(Chinchwad)....E-square.... Icecream-stall or one can say our place for mischieves... our fav bakery shop for cake while returing back to home... and the 'Chaha coffee Nasta Center'-- where "Sutte paise den" was written in bold. Thats why its remarked above that the Best days of my life ..... and to share with you all, the place where my heart-beat doubled for the first time.:)

I am missing it.

  19. In retrospect, all those things which were weird then, seems quite joyful now.

¨ anjeer, mango, kesar, mix ¨ were our buzz words as you rightfully pointed out,at dange chowk hangout. Enjoyed and discussed all issues related to everything ranging from *******( you know it well :) )

After our first week in IBM, I immediately realized it, this place is not for me.Took some time to chalk out next step and move on.

But that short stint at Dange Chawk helped me immensely.

you remember I had bet with you and Parag to reach the peak of the Hillock near IBM Office in Hinjewadi in 10 minute.I got there in 7-8 minute, saw the beautiful view of nature which were being defiled only by concrete chicken houses of software firms. Felt the magnanimity of God for allowing me to see and comprehend all the situation instantly.I became peaceful and then we partied from the bets proceeds
    .
you have labelled me as a serious guy, its not true completely. although it seems to other as i speak less, it takes time for me to mingle with anyone.

And you remember that incident when I and parag was near stairs (entrance) then a girl ( you chit-chattted with her almost 1-2 Hr in auto when we were caught in traffic)
    said ¨HI¨
we were looking back to ensure is it for us of someone else :)

You keep rushing to accompany her on every opportunity you got :) As it was our tacit agreement to support anyone if some one has any chance :) any way dont know where it end

    enjoyed the moment

Khub jama rang , jab mil baithe tin yaar
Hum tum aur Parag talking about your endless pyar.

  20. hmmmm... the most descriptive comment one might ever get on his blog. this shows the experience which we share together...

Remember when the highway construction was going on... how much struggle and excitement it was to go to the office, just like military training, jumping, running, balancing on pipes so that we dont fall in mud...

and one more experience - remember "Pappu Auto" who used to play songs of Chunky Pandey from movie "Saat Samunder".
